Hello Balmy Beach Members:
Have you been looking for a fun filled Balmy Beach sport you can play with your junior family members? Well look no further.
Welcome to our first family Balmy Beach lawn bowling event on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 1, 11am-1pm
You and your junior will join other similarly aged juniors to learn how to:
Read A Green —invaluable for learning how to putt
– Practice their “hand eye” coordination— invaluable for all sports
– Get a feel for the forward body motion required for all throwing sports
– Work as a team
But much more importantly: you will experience a fun outdoor sporting activity, at your own club, that you can do as a family.
Here are the “rules”:
- Junior must be 8yrs and up
- Junior must be accompanied by an adult Balmy Member- parent, grandparent, friend etc.
- all players must wear flat shoes and comfortable clothing
Fee is $20 fee per child which provides:
- all bowls and equipment
- a mini tutorial
- all coaching on the rinks
- Movie Matinee on BIG SCREEN with snacks for juniors at Clubhouse immediately following the bowling
- Regular members food service will be available 1-7pm
- ticket for raffle-draw
- lucky scorecard draw
